Blarney Blend
Top o' the mornin'! Are ye looking for something interesting to say? You might want to pay a visit to the Blarney Stone. This famous hunk of rock, set high into the battlements of Blarney Castle outside of Cork Ireland is rumored to bestow the 'gift of gab' on all whose lips touch it. The unique feature has never perhaps been more eloquently described than by the 19th-century poet, Francis Sylvester Mahony who penned: Tis there's the stone that whoever kisses, He never misses to grow eloquent; 'Tis he my clamber to a lady's chamber, Or become a member of Parliament. A noble spouter he'll sure turn out, or An out and outer to be let alone; Don't try to hinder him, or to bewilder him, For he is a pilgrim from the Blarney stone!
